Meditation is an extension of my creative practice. In an effort to bring them closer together – and to appease my curiosity – I spent six days in absolute darkness. In this environment, objects and the edges that separated them disappeared. In their place, patterns of energy formed and folded through space. To this day, the visual phenomena, lucidity of my dreams, and the scientific and philosophical curiosities and questions I developed profoundly inform my research and practice.

In this ongoing body of work, I explore transparency & opaqueness, texture & weight, light & darkness.
